Lanham, Maryland — a.i. solutions is proud to announce that it will sponsor the 5th Annual Dash to Discovery in the waterfront community of Cape St. Claire in Annapolis, Md.
This 5K and one-mile fun run and walk is designed to promote physical fitness in the community and raise funds for the benefit of the local Cape St. Claire Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO is an invaluable contributor of resources and enrichment activities to the school and its students.
“We are happy to join others in the local business community to do our part to help the community of Cape St. Claire again succeed with this very important fundraising tradition,” says Mark Roberts, Executive Vice-president of a.i. solutions. “Nothing is more important than the health and education of our young people, and this event goes a long way towards furthering both of those goals.”
From its start in 1996, a.i. solutions has been dedicated to acting on the ideals of philanthropy, teamwork and compassion, all with the goal of making the local and global community a better place to live. As such, the company is always on the lookout for opportunities to further science and technology education in local schools, as well as to provide resources and support for local organizations.
In the recent past, for example, a.i. solutions engineers have worked with local teachers to improve participation in science fair programs and have also acted as judges for such events. The company and its employees are also contributors to such organizations as the Sasha Bruce Youthwork program, Saint Ann’s Infant and Maternity Home and the So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.) soup kitchen, as well as the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
